«Wait» is quite simply the best iPhone Timer in the AppStore (no, seriously).
Multiple timers, countdown or clock/alarm mode, repeat functionalities*, per timer specific settings*, super easy to use with gestures, gorgeous design, …
So what should you expect from a timer?
- to be simple and really quick to set up and to use, out of your way
- to be able to run multiple timers at the same time (do you really cook one thing at a time?)
- to be good looking
Okay, the last bit might not be necessary but why using ugly stuff when you can get something useful that actually looks good at the same time?
And the fact is: «Wait» gives you all of that for the same price!

*** NOTE: A few users seem to keep being asked to upgrade even after they already purchased Wait+ (Full App Unlock). Should this happen to you, you just need to go to Settings > Restore Purchases! ***

Really quick to set up and to use:
Step 1: Type in the duration on the timer’s keypad (i.e. 1:30 for a 1 minute 30 seconds timer)
Step 2: Hit the run button
Step 3: er... there’s no step 3
And it can gets even better if you set the Auto-start property*:
Step 1: Type in the duration on the timer’s keypad (i.e. 1:30 for a 1 minute 30 seconds timer)
Yeah, that’s it, only one step and your timer is already on!

App highlights:
- Multiple timers (limited to 2 in the free version and unlimited in «Wait+»*)
- You can see the overall progress of all running timers on the left of the screen
- Colour progress: the colour of the timers’ display changes with the timer’s progress (it goes from green at the beginning to bright red at the end)
- Gestures: swipe up and down to swap timers, swipe right to reveal timers’ list, swipe left to access per timer settings*
- Gorgeous design and animations
- Additional functions: long press on the various buttons with 3 dots ººº to access additional functions
- Flash Alarm when you keep the app open (doesn’t work when the app is in the background due to iOS restrictions)
- Alarms will go off even if «Wait» is in the background or closed, (or even crashed, god forbid!)
- and many others things to discover!
--------------------------------------------------------
Two modes:
- Countdown mode, probably the most common one: you just enter a duration (say 8:00 to cook pasta) and it will count down to 00:00:00.
Note that when the timer reaches 00:00:00, it will keep counting, but up this time, until you stop it (so you know that your pasta were overcooked by, hhmm, 5 minutes for example?)
- Clock/Alarm mode: you want the timer to end at a specific time? (say, you parked your car and you are allowed to leave it there until 2:00pm and no longer or you’ll be fined) Then just enter the end time (14:00 or 2:00 and hit AM/PM) and that’s it!
